Welcome to 2024

📚 The Grays Point Public School P&C would like to extend a warm welcome to all the families of our school’s students as we embark on another exciting year of supporting our amazing school.

Whether you are new to GPPS or aren't new but haven't gotten involved before, we would like to invite all members of the school community to attend our meetings and/or join the P&C.

đź“… P&C Meetings:

Are held twice a term at 7pm in either the school library or staff room. All the 2024 dates can be now be found in the school calendar, on our website and Facebook page.

Things talked about at meetings include

✔️ Principals update

✔️ Canteen

✔️ Uniform shop

✔️ Events and fundraising

✔️ General business

These meetings are a great way to get involved in your child's education, meet other parents/carers, and contribute to the school community.

Our first meeting is this coming Monday, 12 February in the library and all are welcome!

✨ Membership: $1

You don’t have to join to attend meeting but by joining you will receive the meeting agendas and minutes that help you stay up to date on what is happening with the P&C and are entitled to vote on matters when the time arises.

All our members are busy parents/carers juggling kids, work and just life in general. By joining there is no commitment to volunteer.

🚨All money we raise goes straight back into our school and without a P&C the school wouldn’t have

The resources teachers need to give our kids the best education possible. SO much is not covered by government funding.

❌ A community operated canteen and uniform shop that helps keeps costs for families in our control and low.

❌ Fun events throughout the year for the kids and parents that build the sense of community that makes our school the special place it is.

❌ Your support and involvement are invaluable to us and we look forward to seeing you at a meeting or event soon. Let's make this year the best one yet!
